Thibaut de Laval is Managing Director at BlackRock, where he leads marketing for eFront, the leading technology solution dedicated to serving the needs of alternative investments professionals acquired by BlackRock in 2019. Thibaut joined eFront in 2015 as Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer. Prior to that, Thibaut worked for 9 years at McKinsey & Company where he was an Associate Principal.

Raphaël Ben Chemhoun focuses his practice on national and international mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. He advises French and international companies and joint ventures on all aspects of corporate and financial law. Prior to joining McDermott, Raphaël worked as an associate for another leading international law firm.

Martin Schmalfuß is Managing Director of the Mangoldt Group, headquartered in Aachen, Germany. Through several positions at various medium and large sized technology driven companies he owns broad experience in the fields of general management, strategy development, M&A and post merger integration processes.

Christophe Leclerc is a partner at Accuracy. With over 20 years of experience in financial advisory, he leads the innovation team in Accuracy and specialises in modelling and valuations in transaction, litigation or development cases. While having experience across multiple sectors, he has extensive experience in supporting the Aerospace & Defence, Energy and Manufacturing sectors. Christophe has developed a tool dedicated to large project valuation and financial monitoring (Accur’Decide®) and a tool used in the valuation of management packages (Accur’Option®), a topic on which he has authored two books. He has supervised over 600 valuation modelling and data science engagements over the last 10 years. He is a member of the French Valuers Society (SFEV).

Markus Messinger heads Liberty GTS’s Frankfurt office and leads the Liberty GTS team for Northern Europe. Before joining the Liberty GTS team in 2017, Markus spent more than six years as a qualified lawyer in the corporate department of an international law firm.

Dr. Philipp Grenzebach advises clients on all aspects of corporate law and merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions. Philipp has extensive experience acting for financial and strategic investors, and in private and public takeovers. He has deep knowledge of corporate reorganizations, as well as the governance and capital market compliance of capital-market oriented corporations.

Lucie Bocel is a Senior Associate at Howden M&A. Prior to joining Howden M&A, Lucie worked as a Corporate M&A lawyer. At Howden M&A, Lucie supports clients to negotiate bespoke French-law insurance policies (including “assurances de GAP”) on their M&A transactions. Lucie has a Masters degree in Wealth Management (Paris-Sorbonne) and a Master in Business Law (Paris-Dauphine). She has also studied Business and Management at the ESCP European Business School (MEB 2016). She is fluent in French and English.

Dr. Matthias Krühler is a Managing Director and Partner at the Boston Consulting Group in Hamburg. He leads Boston Consulting Group’s post-merger integration work in Central Europe and is the Central Europe Head for BCG’s Energy practice. Marcus Fischer is a German attorney and certified tax advisor and focuses his practice on transaction-related tax matters and various aspects of local and international tax law. He advises clients from a range of industries on restructurings and the tax aspects of the purchase and sale of real estate, shares and businesses. Marcus also counsels clients in relation to warranty and indemnity (W&I) insurance and special tax insurance.

Richard Damming, Head of Investments Benelux, France and Italy. Richard Damming covers Schroder Adveq‘s investment activity for the European investment program. Before joining Schroder Adveq in 2011, Richard worked at Capvent AG, a Zurich based Private Equity fund of funds firm, in the Corporate Finance team of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Zurich and also as controller and corporate M&A Analyst for ABB Ltd.

Dr. Germar Enders (Counsel, Munich) focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity and general corporate law. Germar has extensive experience in advising strategic and financial investors as well as management teams on domestic, cross-border and multi-jurisdictional transactions, and on all aspects of corporate law, including corporate structurings.Prior to joining McDermott, Germar worked at other leading international law firms in the field of corporate/ M&A and as Assistant Professor at the Max-Planck-Institute and the University of Munich. During his legal clerkship, he trained in Cologne and New York. He regularly publishes articles on matters of corporate and civil law, including in legal reference books and commentaries.
