1. Einleitung1 1In den letzten Jahren hat die Implementierung von ESG-Kriterien (Environment, Social, Governance) in VC-finanzierten Unternehmen zunehmend an Gewicht gewonnen. Während für Fondsgesellschaften bereits rechtliche Vorgaben in Kraft sind, ist die Umsetzung von ESG-Maßnahmen keine generelle Pflicht für sonstige Unternehmen. Daher bemühen sich VC-Investoren nun, ihre eigens aufgestellten ESG-Kriterien auf Ebene ihrer Portfoliogesellschaften durchzusetzen. Ein Standard zur Implementierung von ESG-Maßnahmen in VC-finanzierten Start-ups fehlt allerdings zurzeit noch. 2.
