Jana Grieb specializes in health care and life sciences, with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical and medtech industry. Jana has advised numerous pharmaceutical and medical devices companies in a variety of regulatory issues, transactions and contractual matters across the European Union, and has represented them in litigation with regard to public procurement law, unfair competition and reimbursement by public and private payers. Prior to joining McDermott, Jana worked for an international law firm and a Munich-based law firm focusing on pharmaceutical law.

David Clark is Head of the Raymond James Financial Sponsors Group. Previously, he served as Managing Director at Lane, Berry & Co. International, where he led its industrial and environmental services group. Before that, he was a director at UBS Warburg in the Global Industrial Group. In both roles, he completed numerous M&A, advisory, debt, equity and restructuring transactions. Prior to UBS Warburg, he worked for Dillon, Read & Co. and Bank of Boston Corporation

Fabien Goudot, Avocat admitted to the Paris Bar, Fabien is a corporate lawyer with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, securities law and general corporate law, advising companies on both listed and unlisted targets.

Nicolas Lafont focuses his practice primarily on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures and corporate restructurings, with particular emphasis on cross-border deals. Nicolas advises domestic and international companies in negotiation complex transactions in a broad range of industries, including life sciences, informa tion technology (IT) and energy. He also has represented clients in several arbitration and litigation disputes in France and in the United States. Nicolas is head of the Spanish and Latin American desk of the Firm‘s Paris office, advising both companies investing in Latin America, and Spanish and Latin American companies doing business in Europe. He also co-authored the French chapter of the 2nd Edition of the Corporate Governance book published by Thomson Reuters. Before joining the Firm, he served at the European Commission in Brussels as a legal analyst. He subsequently spent two years at a prestigious New York law firm defending a French-based company in major accounting fraud class action litigation, before returning to Paris to practice corporate law.

Jens Kengelbach is a managing director and senior partner at The Boston Consulting Group GmbH. He is the global head of M&A at BCG and leads the BCG Transaction Center worldwide.

Nina Siewert is a German attorney and certified tax advisor and focuses on German and cross-border tax matters. She advises clients on all tax related aspects of domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, group structuring and real estate investments. She has extensive experience in the structuring of funds and debt instruments.

Manuel Szerencses is Director at AlixPartners’ Munich Office. Manuel guides companies through the complexities of operational and financial restructurings. He has more than 15 years of experience in helping private equity led and mid-sized companies to identify value creation opportunities and turnaround businesses. Manuel focuses on reducing the cost of operations through organization redesign, headcount reduction programs, and operational turnaround projects. In addition, Manuel has significant experience in cross border transformation, separation and integration programs. Prior to joining AlixPartners, Manuel served as head of controlling, M&A and investor relations and led financial and operational restructuring projects of several private equity owned companies.

Bertrand Valet is head of financial sponsors coverage for continental Europe. Before joining BNP Paribas in 2018 Valet worked as managing director and head of France coverage in the EMEA financial sponsors team at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
